Summer Selections: American Landscape Drawings and Watercolors in The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Summer 2001 marks the inaugural season of a series of annual exhibitions drawn from the Museum's collection of works on paper created by American artists between the 1780s and 1900. This year's presentation of "Summer Selections" includes some four dozen drawings, watercolors, and pastels of landscape subjects.
