Not on view

The complexity and lyrical quality of the design, the variety of intricate fillings, and the superb execution establish this set of point de gaze lace as a prime example of its kind made in the late 19th century. When it was purchased it was, according to the donor, "the finest that could be found in Brussels in 1895."
