Dining Locations at the Met

Map Key and Information

All of the Museum's galleries, as well as all special exhibitions, dining facilities, and the Met Store, are fully accessible to visitors with mobility impairments. Dotted lines on the floor plan above indicate convenient routes through the building for visitors in wheelchairs, bypassing escalators and stairs. For a sense of scale, the distance is about 1/4 mile between the Museum's restaurant and the Temple of Dendur in The Sackler Wing; about 1/8 mile between the 81st Street entrance and the Information Desk in the Great Hall; and about 1/8 mile between the Information Desk in the Great Hall and The American Wing.

Accessible rest rooms are indicated on the floor plan by a wheelchair symbol next to the rest room icon. A unisex rest room for visitors requiring assistance from a companion is located next to Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium on the first floor.

For further information about services and programs for visitors with disabilities, see Events & Programs.
