Seasonal Prix-Fixe Menu

When the Met was founded 145 years ago, on April 13, 1870, it was just an idea. Today, thanks to generations of supporters like you, the Museum has become the leading encyclopedic museum in the world. It's incredible to look back through the years at early pictures of exhibitions, the first concert series in the Museum, and the beginning of our education programs to see how far we've come.

To celebrate this momentous anniversary, Executive Chef Fred Sabo has crafted a menu inspired by the culinary cuisine of the era during which the Museum was founded—nineteenth-century New York City.
