In celebration of the exhibition Guitar Heroes: Legendary Craftsmen from Italy to New York, Spectrum welcomed musician Glen Hansard to the Met. Hansard, a prolific songwriter and charismatic performer, is both the front man for the Irish band The Frames and one half of the folk-rock duo The Swell Season. After a private viewing of the exhibition and a reception with beer generously donated by Harpoon Brewery, Hansard delighted the crowd with an acoustic solo performance in the magnificent Temple of Dendur.
