A two-day symposium held in conjunction with the exhibitions American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity (on view at the Met May 5–August 15, 2010) and American High Style: Fashioning a National Collection (on view at the Brooklyn Museum May 7–August 1, 2010) examined the historic collection-sharing collaboration between the Brooklyn Museum and The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
