    Inscription: On the mount, underneath the drawing: at centre, inscribed "Matthäus Gundelach 1566-1653|Cassel (?) Prague, Augsburg" in graphite (20th-century handwriting); at lower right, inscribed "Mattheus Gondelach. del" in pen and black ink (18th- or early 19th- century handwriting, probably contemporary to the mount). Verso of the mount: at lower right, inscribed "e" in graphite (20th-century handwriting); below, inscribed "m." in black chalk; below, inscribed "N.° 325" in black chalk (18th-century handwriting)
