    Inscription: Annotated in ink, lower left verso: 'In einer Höhle liebkost ein Satyr / eine nackte Diana. Dahin [?] mehrere / ihrer Nymphen etc.' Annotated in graphite, left verso: [...] illegible. Annotated in blue pencil, lower right verso: 'April 17 / Cöln Ausst 1882 Apl [?] / no 686 / W. Baar [?] / … [shorthand]'.

    Marking: Collector's stamp in black ink lower left recto, illegible (initials?). Similar to Thomas Dimsdale (L. 2426).
