Amateur studies of Colonial buildings, topography and traditional architecture, mostly around Calcutta, with fifteen cdv portraits of Indian "types," one portrait from "The Peoples of India," and one military group at Chatham.

Among the salt prints are some of the earliest photographs known of India and other remarkable images.
