July 5–15, 2008
On an idyllic Aegean cruise aboard Sea Cloud, sail to classical sites on Delos and Naxos, the cliff-top villages of Santorini and the palace of Knossos on Crete.

August 12–23, 2008
Uncover the musical and artistic heritage of Central Europe on this Danube River
voyage. Visit palaces, cathedrals, great collections, and historic sites as we
cruise along some of the Danube’s most beautiful countryside. Begin in Salzburg
where the legacy of Mozart pervades this baroque city. We will enjoy musical
performances in castles, in cathedrals, and aboard the yachtlike M.V.
Casanova, as we cruise through Passau, Melk, Dürnstein and the Wachau Valley
to Vienna. Spend two nights in Vienna before our voyage concludes in Budapest,
visiting the stellar collections in both cities, including the Kunsthistorisches
Museum, Belvedere Palace, and the Museum of Fine Arts.

From Naples, sail on Sea Cloud II to see the antiquities of Sicily. Visit Lecce, then cross the Adriatic to Croatia and explore the cities of Dubrovnik and Split. Optional Venice postlude.

October 11–20, 2008
This program, timed with the Shanghai Biennale, offers a unique opportunity to meet well-known
and emerging artists in the visual and performing arts. Many of the established artists with whom
we will meet have been exhibited at the Metropolitan in the past. Additional highlights include a
visit to Caochangdi Village and the Three Shadows Photography Art Center in Beijing, as well as
specially arranged tours of some of China’s new museums, including the Ullens Center for
Contemporary Art in Beijing and the Zendai Museum of Modern Art in Shanghai.

Travel aboard the French yacht Le Levant for a family adventure
in the Yucatán over the New Year holiday. From the colonial city of Mérida, we will
discover Chichén Itzá, with its pyramids, famous cenote, and the carved facades of its
temples. In Uxmal we will see the richest decorations of all the Mayan cities. Sail to Campeche,
Tulum, and Belize. An optional extension is offered to the Mayan city of Tikal, located within a
wildlife preserve. Always the most spectacular site in Guatemala, Tikal is now even more
impressive as the result of archaeological activity. Tall pyramids, reliefs, and ceramics
all offer a vivid look at the world of the Maya.
