The American West

Explore the artistic richness inspired by the American West, including cowboys, settlers, and landscapes represented in paintings, sculptures, works on paper, and photographs, as well as works of art created by American Indians. This course is presented in conjunction with the exhibition The American West in Bronze, 1850–1925.

Led by Met experts, this three-session course (January 16, 23, and 30) meets in the Met's classrooms and galleries. Space is limited. Purchase tickets below or at the Great Hall box office. Registration ends at noon on the day before the first session. For more information, call 212-570-3961.
