Gallery Talk

From Washington to Lincoln in The American Wing

Investigate the Civil War through works of art in the collection, from Emanuel Leutze's Washington Crossing the Delaware, painted ten years before the Civil War, to Augustus Saint-Gaudens's sculpture Abraham Lincoln: The Man (Standing Lincoln).

This talk is held in conjunction with the exhibition The Civil War and American Art but does not tour the exhibition itself.

This program is made possible by The Mr. and Mrs. Raymond J. Horowitz Foundation for the Arts.
