The Cradle of Civilization: Art of the Ancient Near East

Discover the extraordinary artistic achievements of the societies that thrived within a vast area stretching from the eastern Mediterranean to Central Asia and the Indus Valley. On display are masterpieces from Mesopotamia (ancient Iraq) that include some of the world's earliest writing, Sumerian sculptures, and a remarkable group of stone reliefs.
