K–12 Educator Program

Twitter Chat and Tweetup—Behind the Scenes! Arms and Armor

Follow #MetK12 on Twitter to participate in this free online event, which starts at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Arms and armor have been a vital part of virtually all cultures for thousands of years, pivotal not only in conquest and defense but also in court pageantry and ceremonial events. Join us for a Twitter chat for educators featuring the Museum's Arms and Armor collection.

Would you like to be one of seven lucky Twitter-savvy teachers to join a conservator behind-the-scenes for the corresponding onsite Tweetup? Sign up to add your name to our drawing; we will contact the winners one week before the program.
