Concerts and Performances

Commissioned for the Met's extraordinary sixteenth-century Vélez Blanco Patio, La Celestina—one of the great masterpieces of Spanish literature—is now a site-specific video opera that transforms this unique architectural space into an immersive dramatic-musical experience. On view daily from Friday, March 20, to Sunday, March 29, during Museum hours.

Met Museum Presents, the Met's live-arts program, commissions and produces significant performance work in the Museum's theater as well as its iconic galleries and public spaces.

Tickets to paid performances include Museum admission on the day of the event. Free concerts do not require tickets or reservations unless otherwise noted. For more information, please call 212-570-3949.

These programs are made possible by the generous support of our Concerts & Lectures donors.
