Metropolitan Museum Artists in Concert—SERIES

Metroplitan Museum Artists

Since its debut in 2003, the Metropolitan Museum Artists in Concert have garnered rave reviews for their vibrant performances and imaginative programs. "What makes this group's concerts the most consistently satisfying chamber-music series in New York is the zeal with which the musicians go about their work," said Steve Smith in the New York Times in 2008.

For the group's tenth-anniversary season, the ensemble's artistic coordinator, cellist Edward Arron, has assembled three programs of the lively repertoire that has elicited critical praise over the last decade, including a world premiere of the Metropolitan Museum's first commissioned work for the ensemble, a work for string trio by Dmitry Yanov-Yanovsky.
