Performing on period instruments, the endlessly inventive Ensemble Caprice spotlights the rich and fascinating culture of the court of Rudolf II in Prague-the most interesting European city of its time-where scientists, artists, musicians, and alchemists mixed and mingled to outrageous and resplendent results.
