Gallery Concert: Aeolus Quartet

Praised by Strad Magazine for their "high-octane" performance style, the Aeolus Quartet—Nicholas Tavani and Rachel Shapiro, violins; Gregory Luce, viola; and Alan Richardson, cello—was recently named the 2013–14 graduate resident string quartet at The Juilliard School.

The quartet will perform in the Robert Lehman Wing Court, with all members playing instruments from the Met's own collection. A brief tour of the André Mertens Galleries for Musical Instruments immediately follows the concert.
