Studio Workshop

CANCELED—Painting from the Masters

Grab an easel and set up your studio in the European Painting galleries in this five-part workshop series (May 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30). Revitalize your practice by painting directly from works of the past, as artist João Brandão leads participants through the process of working in the galleries, copying colors and effects, and unpacking complex compositions.

For intermediate levels or higher, prior experience painting with oils required.
