Join Sarah Graff, from the Department of Ancient Near Eastern Art, and Barbara Woods, from the Education Department, on Saturday, December 13, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Through conversation and sketching, they will encourage families to examine Assyrian sculptures from the palace of King Ashurnasirpal II and a lion from the Ishtar Gate of ancient Babylon. The session includes a visit to the Ancient Near Eastern Art galleries on the second floor.

La Experiencia Medieval: Talleres Educativos para la Familia en Español en Los Claustros (Family Program in Spanish at The Cloisters Museum and Gardens)
Los niños entre cuatro y doce años de edad y sus familias están invitados a participar en una serie de talleres educativos en español titulada La Experiencia Medieval en Los Claustros, la sección del Museo Metropolitano de Arte dedicada al arte medieval. El último sábado de cada mes tendrán la oportunidad de participar en una visita guiada y de hacer un proyecto de arte. Cada taller es de una hora de duración y es gratis con la entrada al museo. Nos reuniremos en la sala de recepción. El tema para el sábado el 29 de noviembre se llama "El color y la luz". Consulten el calendario para más información.
