Adriatic Odyssey: Venice to Naples aboard Sea Cloud

Venice, Italy

October 8–19, 2014

Spend a day in Venice before embarking Sea Cloud for an Adriatic adventure. In Ravenna, admire the stunning Roman and Byzantine mosaics. Then cross the Adriatic to Split, Croatia, to tour Diocletian's Palace, where the emperor retired in a.d. 305. In Dubrovnik, a UNESCO World Heritage site, attend a special concert in the courtyard of a five-hundred-year-old palazzo. Continue to Italy and the port of Brindisi to tour the Baroque city of Lecce. On Sicily, explore the ancient Greek and Roman theaters of Syracuse, and in Lipari, marvel at the ancient theatrical masks displayed at the Archaeological Museum before concluding in Naples.
