Not on view

Franco Moschino often explored archetypes and the performative role-playing nature of fashion, as exemplified here in his subversion of a military style uniform. Although this army-green fitted coat with epaulettes may immediately conjure associations with conflict, upon closer examination the designer upends these expectations through a pastiche of appliquéd patches that advocate for peace, harmony, and meditation.
