Engraving, part of 'Habitus variarum orbis gentium' (Costumes of the various peoples of the world), representing the costumes of men and women from various parts of the world, engraved after designs by Boissard and published by Rutz in 1581.

This engraving represents a young Florentine woman, a Florentine nobleman, and a Florentine woman. On the left, the young woman wears a long dress with reain, with long puff sleeves trimmed with bows on the shoulders and a ruff collar. She wears pendant earrings and a marching necklace, and her hair is tied up and covered with a pleated veil.

On the center, the nobleman wears a draped cape and slippers. His hair is short and curled, as well as his beard, and he wears a wide-brimmed hat. His hand is gloved and holding another glove.

On the right, the woman wears a long dress with short puff sleeves over long puff sleeves, a hat on her head over of a long veil, which covers her shoulders and back.
