At the end of an otter hunt, a man stands in a stream surrounded by a pack of dogs and holds an otter up in the air on a spear. Based on a painting made for the Earl of Aberdeen, exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1844 as "The Otter Speared." Includes portraits of the earl's hounds.
