Produced in the Qing imperial porcelain factory at the height of its creative powers, this elaborate vessel features green enamel glazing and gilt patterns in low relief. The stylized dragons that encircle the vase recall those used on bronzes from the period of the Warring States (475–221 BCE) and represent a contemporary reinterpretation of ancient designs.
