This print is bound in Volume III of Oeuvres. Jombert published his collection of Le Pautre in 1751. Volume III contains "desseins d'orfeverie, serrurerie, etc.;" This print is part of a series of six plates depicting vases in the antique style, placed in settings of antiquity. The series was published by Pierre II Mariette in 1661 and was republised by Jombert in 1751.
