Trompe-l'oeil design for a square ceiling, with a central roundel depicting Minerva crowning Hercules. At each corner of the square are trophies and putti below arches. Flanking the square, rectangular panels or beams with rosettes at center. From an untitled series of six plates with ceiling designs, five of which show trompe l'oeil paintings with mythological scenes in the central compartment. The last plate has a blank central compartment.
