The full coat of arms of the duchy of Saxony is surmounted by an Electoral bonnet and flanked by the monogram CHGHZSC, meaning "Christian [and] Hans Georg, Dukes of Saxony, Electors." The collar was made between 1607 and 1611, when Christian I ruled jointly with his brother Hans (or Johann) Georg.
