This artwork is currently on display in Gallery 126
The wooden shabti box is inscribed for Paramnekhu, a servant in the Place of Truth who was a son or grandson of Sennedjem in whose tomb the box was found. Other objects in the collection that were discovered in the same tomb are numbered 86.1.1–86.1.29
Excavated by Gaston Maspero for the Egyptian Antiquities Service, 1885-1886. Sold to the Metropolitan Museum of Art by the Egyptian government, 1886.
