Fragmentary decree of King Neferkauhor

The royal decrees 14.7.10-.14 were were set up in the gateway of the temple of Min at Coptos, and were buried carefully beneath the floors of the temple later in its history.
This stone preserves a decree of king Neferkauhor appointing Idy, nomarch of Coptos, as Governor of Upper Egypt from Elephantine at the southern border with Nubia to Hu somewhat north of Coptos. This probably occurred when Shemay, Idy's father, became vizier.
