Sealed Jar Tied in a Pot Sling

This whitewashed jar was discovered buried in front of the tomb chapel of Senenmut (TT 71) on Sheikh Abd el-Qurna hill. The jar is tied with a pot sling made of papyrus rope and still has its cover of linen cloth.
