Description: Bowed zither of drop-shaped outline with flat back raised on 3 short bone legs, sharply angled top with f-holes and violin-type bridge centered between 2 pegs, 4 strings extending from hooks at tail, over raised fingerboard with 21 inlaid frets and 4 pearl dots, to machine tuner with engraved front plate curving to the right; top edges bound with white celluloid; dark reddish varnish; with unmarked violin bow (b) in fitted case (c).
