Bartsch lists this engraving under Agostino Carracci but notes that his manner in 1580 is nothing like this. Bohn (TIB Commentary) lists this engraving under Domenico Tibaldi because he employs thicker burin lines and strong contrasts, used similarly in two of his engravings post-1573.
