This plain pedimented slab bears an inscription that reads: “Good Athen(ai)os, son of Archiereus, farewell.” It has the same formulaic form as the cylindrical cippi that are very common in Cyprus. The names, however, are unusual and suggest a certain idiosyncrasy, if only in their spelling.
