The carved decorations on this pair of console tables represent the Four Seasons. On 1974.356.127, the fire-spitting dragon symbolizes Summer, and the head of the wind god, Boreas, Spring. On 1974.356.128, the boy's head with fur hat and collar symbolizes Winter, and the grapevine, Autumn. Both tables have been regilded.
