The ever fashionable Millicent Rogers was a client of both high end and mainstream fashion. Having homes in both the United States and Europe, she took great interest in the cultures around her, incorporating their traditions and styles into her dress. The headband featured here is a wonderful example, for it is reminiscent of European head wreaths that were worn as a part of traditional folk costume.
