Museum Closed Today The Museum is closed to the public today, but specially scheduled programs—such as ticketed lectures or Members-only events—may be listed below. See Plan Your Visit for a list of Museum hours, or select a date from the calendar above to view programs scheduled for another day.
Monday at the Met—Ingres, Napoleon and the First Empire Members beginning at the Sustaining level are invited to experience the pleasure of exploring the galleries when the Museum is closed to the public. A slide lecture is presented in the Museum’s Bonnie J. Sacerdote Lecture Hall, followed by exclusive luncheon discussions in The Trustees Dining Room and gallery studies. Attendance is limited. Elinor Richter Fee: $1,600 for the eight-session semester 10:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Please note that all of the events listed above are subject to change. For additional information, consult one of our staff members at an Information Desk upon arrival at the Museum. Events are free with Museum admission unless otherwise noted.
