52nd plate of album with 60 19th-century costume plates and 1 drawing of mostly women's historical costumes, featuring a variety of designs for traditional costumes from different parts of the world, as well as costumes for literary characters, including Esmeralda. This plate consists of a woman wearing a costume made up of a white dress with blue collar and lapels, all bordered with gold, and golden buttons, a tan ribbon tied around the waist to form a belt, white stockings, and blue low heels with golden buckles. She wears her fray hair tied back with a blue ribbon bow, and two thin bangles around each wrist. She rests one of her hands over a thin, long sword with golden handle.
