Seventh plate of the third series of pochoir pattern books, titled "Studio d'arts décoratifs", with Art Deco textile designs created by Nicolas Sorokine and published in Paris by Armand Guérinet, probably in the second half of the 1920s or the early 1930s. The series consists of a title page with index and 12 plates with designs numbered 1-12, each with numerous designs, bound with dark blue linen boards. The designs contain a variety of geometric motifs, birds and flowers, all typical of the Art Deco style, which was characterized by its eclecticism, drawing from a variety of sources that sought to combine old European design traditions with the modern style diffused by avant-garde art, while also reflecting the romantic fascination with early Egyptian and Meso-American "exotic" cultures promoted by archaeological discoveries of the times.

This plate consists of eight designs rendered with shades of violet. The first is made up of an abstract pattern with rectangles and fragments of circles colored with dark green, dark blue and red over a mint green ground. The second design is made up of violet branches with semi-abstract leaves and egg-shaped clusters of these same types of branches, orange accents, and circles made with small orange squares over a light blue ground. The third design is made up of alternating vertical stripes with horizontal zig-zagging stripes rendered alternatingly with small scrolling branches with leaves and fruit colored with green over white ground and with dark blue and decorated with white circles and lines, and vertical stripes with the continuing horizontal zig-zagging lines, colored alternatingly with cream and light blue and decorated with thin vertical dark blue strokes, and with thin branches with dark blue leaves and green fruits. The fourth design is made up of semi-abstract circles and spirals colored with blue, black and yellow over a white ground. The fifth design is made up of lozenges made up of smaller lozenges colored with green, yellow and red over a violet ground. The sixth design is made up of bundles of semi-abstract flowers and leaves colored with red, dark blue and purple over violet circles with purple dots and dark blue-and-white squares over a white ground. The seventh design is made up of overlapping semi-abstract flowers and leaves colored with purple, green and gray over a white ground. The final design is made up of semi-abstract flowrs and leaves colored with shades of gray and purple over a white ground.
