Pugahm Myo: East facade of Damayangyee Pagoda

Linnaeus Tripe British

Not on view

Tripe regarded the Damayangyee Pagoda as "one of the best examples of design" at Pugahm Myo. In its ruined state, this temple—the most massive structure at the site—offered the mission’s members the opportunity to examine the brick construction and elaborate plaster decoration.
