In the text on this stela, Userhat testifies to his own good qualities and to his trust in his god, probably Amun. He is shown here with his wife, Nefertari. Userhat was a priest in the mortuary cults of both Amenhotep III and Tutankhamun, but complex layering of the relief and the style of the figures date this stela a time after the Amarna Period (the reign of Akhenaten, son of Amenhotep III).
