Played vertically on an adjustable endpin marked "ROHENA"; conventional form using local woods and ebony; two-piece top joined through treble F-hole, two-piece back and matching ribs, grafted scroll with dot eyes, one-strip black purfling front and back, all ebony fittings, inlaid design of black dots in form of a cross in top at lower treble point; three gut and one copper-wound strings.
