Technical Description
Conical single chanter of dark wood 381 mm, with turned ivory mount at tenon end and small brass ring near bass, 7/1 holes, 7 brass keys with leather pads, cane double reed mounted on brass staple and lapped, brass tuning bridle; no bass drones or regulators;

2-fold black leather bellows, leather outlet hose with brass ring for fitting into bag stock, ivory intake valve;

Sheepskin bag;

2 cylindrical stocks of dark wood with brass mounts, the chanter stock plain and the bellows stock grooved;

Intermediate joint of bellows stock with grooved nipple at one end leather flapper valve at other.

Height of chanter: 15 in. (38.1 cm)
