Trompe-l'oeil design for a ceiling, with a central rectangle with partially curved sides containing a scene with Eos riding in her chariot seen at bottom center. Around this scene, a series of columns and pilasters, as well as crowned escutcheons flanked by figures at the short sides. From an untitled series of six plates with ceiling designs, five of which show trompe l'oeil paintings with mythological scenes in the central compartment. The last plate has a blank central compartment.
