Bowl

China

On view at The Met Fifth Avenue in Gallery 204

Kilns producing Jun ware, which were based in north China, are listed among the kilns that made wares for the court during the Northern Song dynasty (960–1127). The light blue color of the glaze on this elegant bowl typifies some of the finest Jun wares produced during this period.
