Beaker

Moody Russell American

On view at The Met Fifth Avenue in Gallery 704

This beaker was recorded in 1913 as one of a set of six belonging to the First Congregational Church in Truro, Massachusetts, founded in 1711. The beakers, although of similar shape and height, are stamped with the marks of three different silversmiths. One other from this group is also in The Met's collection (see 33.120.119).
