Design for Louise Vanderbilt's Bedroom at Hyde Park. The room was modelled after Marie Antoinette's chanber at Versailles in a late Rococo style. The canopy bed is placed in an alcove and surrounded by a circular balustrade. This is included in the design but can be folded back to reveal the bed behind it.
