This plate is one of ten, each painted with a different flower amid ribbons, from the Service Fleurs et rubans designed by Félix Bracquemond in 1879. Produced both in earthenware by Creil and in porcelain by Haviland, the Creil version makes use of a model of plate supplied by Bracquemond in 1866.
