French

Not on view

Illustrating yet another use for gilt bronze in the interior, this faucet consists of a nozzle that is decorated with foliate scrolls and a trelliswork pattern dating it to the second quarter of the eighteenth century. Its handle, also serving as a valve, terminates in a dragon’s head.
