P. Grace Hernandez was the 2010–2011 Polaire Weissman Fellow in The Costume Institute at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. From 2005 to 2009, she was assistant curator of the Brooklyn Museum Costume Documentation Project, where she oversaw the integrity of all TMS project records, reviewed the continuity of the cataloging process, and supervised and conducted research projects. Formerly, she was at the Metropolitan Museum's Antonio Ratti Textile Center for nearly five years, attaining the position of associate in collections care. Grace holds a B.A. in English from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.A. in Museum Studies with an emphasis in clothing and textiles from SUNY—Fashion Institute of Technology.
